another oldie … I was thinking about doing more of these since they somehow seem to be the only comics people find genuinely funny – probably because instead of abstract crazy situations, they actually happened?

I did something similar when I was a kid, my family moved to a really weird little town (and for some reason my parents still live there), all the boys at my really weird schol were scared of some horrible thing called “Girls disease”. Didn’t have a hammer, just used my fists!

Thanks man! Sadly, the “using my fists” option was used quite a lot in that small, dank, hole of a town while growing up. For the first couple of years, “girls” were presented as being evil, horrible creatures I had to stay away from. Then, something happened one day, and they became these evil horrible creatures who stayed away from me.
You know, I think you’ve unlocked something deep here. Should I start paying you for this?

Man, that was one bitchin’ playhouse before my dad tore it down. I love these flashbacks to your childhood, how you portray uncle Doug and your mindset at the time makes me laugh to tears.
